Here on the mainland, we don't get much of a chance to see the awesome power encompassed within active volcanoes, with the exception of the 1980 Mt. St. Helens eruption in Washington.

But when you leave the continential US, a whole new world awaits you. Even though most people go to the islands for the sun, sand, and surf, part of Hawaii's mystic lies within the depths of its active volcanoes. Because of their gentle nature, all can view them up close and personal and get a sense of their awe-inspiring prescence.

On the following sites, you will find information on the different volcanoes in Hawaii, where to find them and what you can learn from them. We hope you enjoy the site and feel inspiried to go see the amazing creations in person!
